The limit of the number of email accounts or MySQL databases is based on the amount of free space remaining on your plan.

Free Domains

Free domains, whether a New Zealand domain name (.co.nz, .net.nz, .geek.nz, .org.nz or .gen.nz), or an international one (.com, .net, .org) must be available; or if owned by yourself, transfered to our Domain Registrar. New domains will be registered under your name if we register the domain on your behalf.

30 Day Money Back Guarantee and Domain Names

The Money Back Guarantee does not cover the cost of the domain name registration. If you cancel your web hosting within 3 months, we will invoice you the cost of the domain name: $19 for NZ domains, approx $20 for international names.

Email Policy

Binary Star has a zero stance policy on SPAM, Junk E-mail or UCE. Spam, Junk-mail and UCE are defined as: the sending of the same, or substantially similar, unsolicited electronic mail messages, whether commercial or not, to more than one recipient. A message is considered unsolicited if it is posted in violation of a newsgroup charter or if it is sent to a recipient who has not requested or invited the message. UCE also includes e-mail with forged headers, compromised mail server relays, and false contact information.

If your actions cause the server that is hosting your website to be blacklisted, we may charge you an administation fee of $140 to remove the blocks.

Phone and Email Support

Phone and Email support are not available between 1am and 5am, New Zealand time.

Change of Plans

You may change your hosting plan at any time. But 24 hours must then elapse before you can upgrade (or downgrade) your hosting plan again.
